"This was supposed to be another typical Jug Fusion gig...until the out-of-state license plates started showing up. Unbeknownst to me, a covert jam was being planned for my 35th birthday. First it was Tomi-O and Ralph Hartwell, driving 10 hours straight from work in Virginia just to boogie. Then Ray Nutter came in from Hinton, WV and Gerry and Diane arrived from New Jersey.
But it was the sight of Boz standing on the Sidewalk with his Turbodiddley that made me want to cry. This was one of the greatest birthday gifts I ever received.
